ThreatStream, a Redwood City, Calif.-based platform for cybersecurity intelligence, raised $4m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Google Ventures, with participation from Paladin Capital Group, Cloudera CEO Tom Reilly, and Hugh Njemanze, former CTO and Founder of ArcSight.
Led by CEO Greg Martin, ThreatStream provides businesses and governments with a SaaS-based platform (Optic) that offers crowd-sourced cyber intelligence to understand threats in context and block attacks. Optic aggregates millions of threat indicators from around the Internet and integrates them directly to an organization’s existing security infrastructure.
