Tictail, a Stockholm, Sweden and New York City-based DIY e-commerce platform, raised $8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Thrive Capital with participation from Balderton Capital, Project A Ventures and Creandum, Scott Belsky, founder and CEO of Behance; Andy Dunn, founder of Red Swan Ventures, and founder and CEO of Bonobos; Nick D’Aloisio, founder of Summly; and Jesse Derris, founder and CEO of Derris & Company.
The company intends to use the funds to open a New York office focused on growth in North America.
