Xeneta, an Oslo, Norway-based price comparison service for sea freight, received an investment from Point Nine Capital.
The amount of the funding was not disclosed.
Founded in 2012 by Patrik Berglund, Thomas Sørbø & Vilhelm Vardøy, Xeneta leverages the principle of crowdsourcing to provide SaaS reporting tools that allow freight buyers to compare their prices against the market average and best performing rates.
The company had received €1.2m in a round led by Creandum with participation from Alden (read here).
