CloudBees, Inc., a a Boston, MA-based provider of an Enterprise Platform as a Service (PaaS), closed an $11.2m Series C financing.
The round, whih brought total funding to $25.7m, was led by Verizon Ventures, the investment arm of Verizon Communications Inc. with participation from existing investors Matrix Partners and LightSpeed Venture Partners, as well as new investor Blue Cloud Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to roll out additional product capabilities, fund sales expansion and extend the reach of the CloudBees brand.
Founded in 2010 by Sacha Labourey, chief executive officer, CloudBees provides a Continuous Delivery Platform as a Service that accelerates the development, integration and deployment of web and mobile applications. The solution provides a set of services that allow developers to build and run new business applications and integrate them with other services, make frequent updates and deploy those changes immediately to production. The company serves a wide range of businesses from small startups to large IT organizations.
