Flowboard, a Seattle, WA-based mobile-first presentation platform, raised $750k in funding.
Backers included angel investors such as Vijay Vashee, former GM of PowerPoint and early Microsoft employee, who will also serve as a strategic advisor to the company.
Launched in 2013 by Brent Brookler, Chief Executive Officer, Flowboard is building a mobile presentation app called Flowboard, which offers users a creative toolbox that supports a selection of fonts, image and video embeds and edits, undo/redo features, snap guides, object duplication, and now non-linear slide transitions for a better mobile experience.
The company has now launched Flowboard 2.0 on iPad (free through the App Store), which features editable transitions, printing, save-as-PDF capabilities and new premium templates.
It has nearly 150,000 registered users.
