LoopMe, a London, UK-based provider of social mobile advertising platform, closed a $3m funding round.
Backers included Holtzbrinck Ventures, Open Ocean Capital and Kristian Segerstrale.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate recruitment, expand in the US and Asia, and continue to develop proprietary artificial intelligence and social discovery technology.
Led by Stephen Upstone (CEO) and Marco Van de Bergh (CTO), LoopMe provides brands with a social mobile advertising platform that allows consumers to share and add votes (“like” and “stop”) to ads enabling others to socially discover adverts on smartphones and tablets.
It now employs 30 people from its London headquarters.
