FireHost, a Dallas, Texas-based secure cloud company, raised $25m in Series E funding.
The round was led by existing investor The Stephens Group, LLC.
The company intends to use the capital for product development, sales, and brand awareness. The funds will strengthen its ability to invest in all aspects of secure cloud computing, particularly to provide further separation in the technology required to protect customers from increasingly complex security threats.
Led by Jim Lewandowski, CEO, FireHost provides large companies with a managed cloud IaaS to improve the collection, storage and transmission of their most confidential data and protect brand reputations.
The company’s IaaS is available in Dallas, Phoenix, London, Amsterdam and Singapore.
