Intelligent InSites, Inc., a Fargo, ND-based provider of operational intelligence for healthcare, received an equity investment from Health Insight Capital, a subsidiary of HCA (NYSE: HCA).
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. As part of the agreement, Chuck Hall, President of HCA’s National Group, joined Intelligent InSites’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the proceeds to accelerate and expand its solutions.
Led by Doug Burgum, Executive Chairman, Intelligent InSites operates an open, real-time, healthcare platform that automatically collects and processes data from multiple data sources such as EHRs, financial systems, building systems, sensory and real-time location systems (RTLS and RFID), mobility solutions, and other healthcare IT solutions to provide actionable intelligence to healthcare systems.
Customers include: Veterans Health Administration, which is implementing the Intelligent InSites operational intelligence solution across 152 VA Medical Centers and seven Consolidated Medical Outpatient Pharmacy facilities; integrated delivery networks including Sanford Health and Texas Health Resources; consumer-governed healthcare systems such as Group Health; Bumrungrad International Hospital, an Asian hospital accredited by Joint Commission International.
