Powerhouse Dynamics, a Newton, MA-based cloud provider of enterprise energy and asset management solutions, secured a bridge financing.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Backers included the Social Venture Fund of the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business as well as a group of early stage venture capital firms and angel groups.
Led by Martin Flusberg, CEO, Powerhouse Dynamics provides the SiteSage platform, a resource and asset management system for small commercial facilities to manage energy consumption and improve business operations by reducing energy use.
Pilot systems have been deployed in national fast food and restaurant chains including select Arby’s, Chili’s and Texas Roadhouse locations.
