WalkMe, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an enterprise class guidance and engagement platform, closed an $11m funding.
The rond was led by new backer Scale Venture Partners with participation from Mangrove Capital Partners, Giza Venture Capital and Gemini Israel Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Rory O’Driscoll, a partner at Scale Venture Partners, will join WalkMe’s board of directors.
The company, which has now raised $17.5m to date, intends to use the funds to further accelerate operational momentum and customer acquisition.
Founded in 2011 by Dan Adika, CEO, WalkMe provides a cloud-based platform designed to help professionals – customer service managers, user experience managers, training professionals, SaaS providers and sales managers – guide and engage prospects, customers, employees and partners through any online experience. It features engagement optimization, contextual promotions, advanced cross-selling capabilities, and advanced analytics.
Customers include enterprises from a wide range of verticals including Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Citrix, Stanley Black&Decker, US Foods, Bank of Montreal and Kimberly-Clark, among others.
