Monk’s Hill Ventures Launches $80M Fund Focused on Asia-Based Startups

monkshillMonk’s Hill Ventures has launched an S$100m (approximately $80m) early-stage tech fund that focuses on Asia-based startups.

Led by Peng T. Ong, Kuo-Yi Lim and Stefan Jung, with Thomas Clayton as special advisor, the fund will support will invest in high-growth technology companies that will take advantage of the Asian markets.
It has two primary areas of focus:
– early stage, Series A and B, technology startups primarily across Southeast Asia, and
– growth rounds of startups in Silicon Valley and from around the world that want to expand in Asia.

The firm has offices in both Singapore and Jakarta.
