Ringpay, a London, UK-based startup aiming to “humanize mobile payments”, raised $55k in funding.
This sum is the initial premium tranche of a larger seed investment.
The company intend to use the funds to expand operations, and to hire in marketing/sales.
Founded by Michele Silletti and Cristina Bonaccurso, Ringpay is the company behind Charing App (dowload it here), a mobile application empowering non-profit, charities and NGOs to fundraise trough smartphones and social media.
The company is incubated by Level39, the biggest fintech accelerator in Europe, and also backed by investor and advisor Stefano Tresca.
