CloudPhysics, a Mountain View, CA-basedĀ provider of predictive analytics for virtual datacenter management, secured $15m in Series C funding.
The round was led by venture capital firm Jafco Ventures with participation from existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mayfield.
The company, who has raised $27.5m to date, will use the funding to develop its SaaS solution, expand sales and marketing efforts, and scale the business.
Founded in 2011 by John Blumenthal, CEO, CloudPhysics provides a SaaSĀ predictive solution, which leverages Big Data analytics to enable IT to discover hidden operational hazards before problems emerge and identify efficiency improvements in virtualized IT operations management.
The company also announced the general availability of Storage Analytics, a new release of its predictive analytics solution that aims to simplify the complexities of managing storage resources in the virtual datacenter.
