Dwellable, a Seattle, WA-based mobile app for vacation rentals, raised $2m in seed financing.
The round was led by Version One Ventures and Maveron with additional participation from former HomeAway board director Rob Solomon, Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff, Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman, Farecast founder Oren Etzioni, and other investors in Seattle and Silicon Valley.
The company intends to use the new funds for continued innovation on all mobile platforms.
Launched in 2012 by Kirby Winfield, CEO, Dwellable operates an online vacation rental search engine that “organically” ranks listings in its results and a vacation rental app. Available on the Apple App Store and on Google Play, it features more than 300,000 properties from all over the world.
