GeoGrafi Raises £150K in Growth Funding

-

GeoGrafi, a Liverpool, UK-based company which specializes in geospatial and mapping technologies, recently raised £150k in growth funding.

The North West Fund for Venture Capital, managed by Enterprise Ventures, provided the funds.

The company is using the funds to create five new jobs.

Established in 2011 by Mike Darracott, GeoGrafi provides GPS-enabled solutions and 3D spatial data for utilities and local authorities to survey and manage their assets in the field.
In addition to providing services, the company has expanded into the supply of equipment and recently acquired Stockport-based Mobile GIS Services (MGISS), which is a reseller for a number of geospatial brands.
Following the investment, MGISS founder Dave Shandley will continue to work in the business alongside Mike Darracott.
