Nugg Solutions, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based provider of a team performance platform, closed a $350k seed funding round.
Vancouver and Silicon Valley angel investors provided the funds in December, 2013.
The company, which is using the funds to launch into open beta, is raising a second $600K round to fund continued development and prepare for commercial launch.
Founded by Steven Forth (CEO) and Amar Dhaliwal (Chairman) in January 2013 and part of the VentureLabs program, Nugg provides a platform for a suite of web and mobile apps for building, managing, and tracking high-performance teams. It provides teams with a targeted messaging layer that provides the information, metrics, and feedback to drive continuous performance improvements.

The company’s team also includes Dr. Lee Iverson as CTO and social media expert Tris Hussey as Director of Customer Success.
