ScalingData Closes $4.4M Funding

scalingdataAccording to a blog post, ScalingData, a developer of data center solutions, closed a $4.4m funding.

The round was led by General Catalyst with participation from Google Ventures and Brian Stevens, CTO at Red Hat. In conjunction with the funding, Donald Fischer of General Catalyst, joined ScalingData’s board.

The company is using the funds to continue to develop the product.

Founded in 2014 by Omer Trajman, CEO, Don Brown, COO, and Eric Sammer, CTO, ScalingData is building an end-to-end application for IT operation  that leverages the Hadoop ecosystem to trace data center problems to root cause, predict capacity issues, identify emerging failures and highlight latent threats.

The company is hiring.
