SourceClear Raises $1.5M in Seed Funding

SourceClear, a Seattle, WA-based creator of a software security platform for developers, raised $1.5m in seed funding.

Backers included Justin Somaini, Chief Trust Officer at Box.com, Frank J. Marshall, former VP of Engineering at Cisco Systems Inc., Amos Michelson, Chairman of Kardium and Mary Cirillo, board member at Thomson Reuters (TRI), Kinzer Capital, Realise Capital Partners.

Led by Founder and CEO Mark Curphey, SourceClear allows developers to access to the intelligence to make decisions while they’re building software and organizations to gain complete visibility across their software portfolios.
The platform integrates directly into established development tools, has machine-learning capabilities and leverages “big data” analytics.
