WebPT, a Phoenix-based provider of an electronic medical record (EMR) solution for rehabilitation therapists, received a significant investment from Battery Ventures.
In conjunction with the funding, Chelsea Stoner, Battery Ventures General Partner, is joining the WebPT board
The company intends to use the new capital to accelerate growth.
Founded in 2006 by President and Chief Technology Officer Brad Jannenga and Chief Operating Officer Heidi Jannenga and led by CEO Paul Winandy, WebPT provides physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists with a web-based application with business reporting, interactive and organized scheduling, and integrated billing.
It has been adopted by more than 35,000 therapists and 6,000 clinics in the US and Canada.
