WhoKnows, a Mountain View, CA- and Toronto, ON, Canada-based provider of an employee-centric expertise-discovery solution, raised a funding of undisclosed amount.
Backers included Intel Capital and existing investors PivotNorth Capital, the Citrix Startup Accelerator and angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its marketing and sales efforts.
Led by Chris Macomber, CEO, WhoKnows provides an employee-centric expertise-discovery solution that helps companies understand who knows what in their organizations. The platform automatically builds detailed skills profiles for every employee to review and publish and then recommends the right colleague via any enterprise or Internet search tool including Google, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
