Fuisz Media Closes $2.1M in Seed Funding

Fuisz Media, a Santa Monica, CA-based technology company that uses computer vision algorithms to create interactive video experiences, closed $2.1m in seed funding.

The round was co-led by Metamorphic Ventures and Lerer Hippeau Ventures with participation from Michael Lazerow, founder of Buddy Media; WGI Group, Michael Walrath, founder of Right Media; Jonah Goodhart and Noah Goodhart, founders of Moat); Brian Lee, co-founder of LegalZoom and The Honest Company; Matthew Anderson, CMO of Roku; Ben Barokas, founder and CEO of Admeld; United Talent Agency and Mesa+.

Led by Justin Fuisz, CEO, Fuisz has launched Fuisz Interactive Video for branded content and video ads. It allows brands to create item-level interactions in every frame of a video, letting viewers touch or click on any object to discover, share, or purchase.
The company is already working with Nike, Target, and Walmart, among others.
