Motionsoft, a Rockville, MD-based provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and payment solutions in the health and wellness industry, raised $10m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Route 66 Ventures with participation from Series A investor Edison Partners and The Maryland Venture Fund (MVF).
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing operations.
Led by Al Noshirvani, CEO, Motionsoft provides cloud-based core club management, payment services and marketing software that automate membership retention and recruitment while giving access to strategic insights.
Clients include health clubs, corporate and hospital-based wellness centers, and universities such as Town Sports International, Equinox and Active Sports Clubs.
