According to a blog post, Moven, a NYC-based free debit card and app that keeps track of users’ spending, raised $8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by SBT Venture Capital, with participation from Route 66 Ventures, Standard Bank, existing investor Anthemis Group, and some new angels.
The company intends to use the funds to invest in the product with new features and tools and add strategic partners worldwide.
Led by Brett King,Ā Moven provides aĀ free debit card, contactless payment sticker and mobile app that give instant feedback with every purchase they make.
The Moven card is issued by CBW Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to a license from MasterCard International.
