NetBase, a Mountain View, CA-basedĀ social analytics company, completed a $15.2m expansion funding round.
This amount represents an initial Series D closing for $10.2m.
Backers included existing investors Thomwest Ventures, Altos Ventures and WestSummit Capital, as well as new investor SAIF Partners.
The company will use the funds to accelerate go-to-market initiatives.
Led by CEO Peter Caswell,Ā NetBase provides brands with social media analysis tools that help their marketing and sales professionals analyze consumer insights, opinion, emotion, and behavior online.
Customers include AMC Networks, American Airlines, Arbyās, Coca-Cola, Kenneth Cole, Ogilvy, SAP, Taco Bell, Walmart and YUM!.
