Wideo, a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based provider of a tool that allows anyone to create an animated video, raised $460k in funding.
Backers included 500 Startups, NXTPLabs and South Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to innovate the education technology space, helping teachers enhance the learning experience for their students.

Wideo provides an animated online video creation platform that allows users to create, edit, and share videos online for free. They can choose (or upload) images, backgrounds, and music in order to create their own online video and then share it.
The company has participated in 500 Startups accelerator in 2013.
