Bizzabo Raises $2.5M in Funding

-

Bizzabo-LogoBizzabo, a New York and Israel-based networking platform and event app, raised $2.5m in funding.

Backers included Kaedan Capital, AfterDox, super angel Gigi Levy and new investors OurCrowd and Massa Group.

The company, which has now raised $4m to date, intends to use the funds to build new functionalities for organizers of professional events and its participants – sponsors, attendees, speakers and exhibitors. The planned rollout of a comprehensive event management platform is expected for later in 2014.

Co-founded in 2012 by Eran Ben-Shushan, Alon Alroy, and Boaz Katz, Bizzabo is a networking and mobile platform for event organizers and attendees. It integrates social media to build interactive event communities, helping organizers, sponsors and exhibitors to engage directly with guests and seek out meaningful new business opportunities. Organizers can use it to increase engagement, word of mouth and sponsorship revenue.

Bizzabo is available online and across iOS and Android devices.
