Clinverse, Inc., a Durham, NC-based provider of automated financial management technology solutions for clinical trials, closed a $9.1m Series C round of funding.
The round was led by Edison Partners with existing investors Hatteras Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Lenard Marcus, Partner at Edison Partners, will join Clinverse’s Board along with Edison Director Network member and former Dendrite and Covance executive, Teresa Winslow.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the product roadmap, to bolster its internal infrastructure, and to expand its sales and marketing organization and strategic plans.
Led by Denis Connaghan, CEO, Clinverse provides automated financial management technology solutions which standardize clinical trial finance and manage financial transactions across the globe, including clinical site payments.
The tools are used by BioPharma companies.
