DreamsCloud, a Reston, VA-basedĀ online dream resource, raised $2m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Sphere Capital Holding.
The company intends to use the funds to continue development of the platform and the recently released DreamSphere mobile app, make additional engineering and developer hires, and grow and expand its reach via additional marketing efforts.
Founded in 2010 and led by Jean-Marc Emden, DreamsCloud allows users to collect, analyze, safe-keep and share their dreams. Services include online dream journaling and access to professional reflection via the DreamsCloud website (www.dreamscloud.com) as well as the ability to use the DreamSphere mobile app.
Built on a global database, it also offers the Global Dreams Map, which, updated in real-time, allows users to search for dreams according to location, date, popularity, what’s trending, from connected friends or by keyword.
