Six days of life and an unbelievable success. Earlyclaim.com, which was born as a side project by Italians Alessandro Marchesini (@rockyita, who is also an advisor at FinSMEs) and Walter Franchetti ( @frnwtr), allows you to automatically register your favorite username in new startups thus avoiding getting stuck with crappy and incoherent usernames on different places.
It offers a hustle-free solution to individuals and businesses for personal, professional and corporate branding, while supporting new startups in reaching and activating an initial users base of willing early adopters.
Marchesini and Franchetti, who are two avid “startuppers”, developed the project after experiencing the difficulty of acquiring and activating early adopters for their previous startups and experiencing the difficulties and complexity associated with securing a constant username across all new projects as well as for themselves.
Let’s have a look at how it works: after a user signs up and chooses his/her favorite username, the platform registers the user on new startups linked to the platform, using an @earlyclaim.com email address and a randomly generated password. The user has then 30 to 60 days from the launch date of the startup to login to each startup with his/her credentials to keep his username reserved. In the meantime, EarlyClaim.com digests all out-bound communication, emails and messages from the startups, funneling them into a single daily digest email to each user’s personal email. In the first 4 days since launch, EarlyClaim has gained over 11,000 registered users, was visited from more than 130 countries and received enquiries from startups across 3 continents.
The press appreciates the project….
