Pluralsight, a Farmington, Utah-based provider of online training for technology professionals, closed a $135m Series B funding.
The round was led by current investor Insight Venture Partners, as well as ICONIQ Capital and Sorenson Capital.
The company, which has now raised nearly $165m in total, to accelerate its enterprise customer base, expand into new content categories, bring an enhanced learning experience, as well as new courses, instructors and users.
Founded in 2004 and led by Aaron Skonnard, CEO, Pluralsight provides online learning for professional software developers, IT specialists and creative technologists. The company currently offers access to more than 3,000 courses authored by top experts to customers in more than 150 countries.
It has acquired four online learning companies in the past year, including PeepCode, Tekpub, TrainSignal and Digital-Tutors, with a total transactional value in excess of $70m.
