Agari Raises $15M in Series C Funding

agariAgari, a San Mateo, California-based provider of real-time, data-driven security solutions that detect and prevent advanced email cyberattacks, raised $15m in Series C funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $22.7m, was led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Alloy Ventures, Battery Ventures, First Round Capital and others. As part of this deal,  Ariel Tseitlin, Partner at ScaleVP, will join Agari’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to grow operations.

Led by Patrick Peterson, founder and CEO, Agari builds cloud-based SaaS data-driven security solutions that eliminate email as a channel for cyberattacks and enable businesses and consumers to interact safely. The solution aggregates data from 2.5 billion mailboxes to allow global brands to eliminate email threats, protect customers and their personal data, and guard brand reputation.

Clients include large companies in Financial Services, E-Commerce, Healthcare, Logistics and B2B Services.
