Aurora Brands Receives Investment from Castanea Partners

Aurora Brands, the owner of luxury home and lifestyle brands MacKenzie-Childs and Jay Strongwater, received an equity investment from Castanea Partners.

The amount of deal, which saw Castanea partnering with Aurora Brands management, led by Lee Feldman and Howard Cohen, was not disclosed. In conjunction with the transaction, Ron Frasch, an operating partner at Castanea and an experienced luxury retail executive who most recently served as the President and Chief Merchandising Officer at Saks Fifth Avenue, will be joining Aurora Brands’ board.
