Cosmopolit Home, a Lyon, France-based peer-to-peer nightswapping platform, raised €2m in funding.
Backers included Rhône Alpes Creation, Expansinvest, Otonnale, as well as some private individuals and the BPI.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations into Europe and across the Atlantic.
Founded by Serge Duriavig, Cosmopolit Home operates a peer to peer nights exchange platform based on the nightswapping concept, which offers the opportunity for private individuals from all over the world to experience a free stay, whatever the length and destination.
To date, the service has attracted 6,000 hosts community throughout 54 countries.
