Festicket, a London, UK-based large live music travel platform, raised $2.7m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Wellington Partners and PROfounders Capital with participation from existing investors Windcrest Partners, Playfair Capital, Kima Ventures and Jacques-Antoine Granjon.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate international expansion, grow its team and further develop its commercial model, which combines curated content, social community and e-commerce.
Co-founded by CEO Zack Sabban and CTO Jonathan Younes, Festicket provides fans of live music with a service to book packages for festival trips. Working with festival partners and suppliers, the company packages festival tickets, travel and accommodation.
Festicket has over 200 music festivals on offer in 2014 including Tomorrowland, Ultra Europe, Leeds & Reading, 300,000+ members and monthly traffic of over 500,000 unique visitors.
