GlobalTranz, a Phoenix, Arizona-based, technology-enabled 3PL company specializing in freight management services, completed a $40m Series C funding.
Backers included Providence Equity Partners and Susquehanna Growth Equity. In conjunction with the round, Mark Hastings, a Managing Director in Providence Strategic Growth, and and Ben Weinberg of Susquehanna Growth Equity, will be joining the Board of Directors of GlobalTranz.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow operations.
Led by Andrew Leto, CEO, GlobalTranz leverages its proprietary technology platforms, CommandCenter and CarrierRate, to provide freight management services including Less-Than-Truck Load (LTL), Truckload (TL), Supply Chain Management, and Domestic Air/Expedited shipping via a “click and ship” environment.
