Qzzr, a Lehi, Utah-based quiz platform creator, raised $2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund with participation from other investors Pelion Venture Partners, Peterson Partners, RPM Ventures and angel investors.
Led by Josh Little, founder and CEO, and Owen Fuller, chief marketing officer, Qzzr provides a platform that enables people or companies to create mobile-first, responsive, online quizzes in minutes, post them anywhere on the Web and track results through analytics.
The company, which has emerged from stealth mode after a five-month limited pilot phase, offers a free version, with paid tiers for marketers, agencies and publishers that include enterprise, white-labeled solutions.
During its limited pilot, Qzzr has already seen the creation and deployment of tens of more than 20,000 quizzes, on topics ranging from World Cup soccer to linguistics, which have been taken millions of times.
