Sendwithus, a Victoria, BC, Canada- and San Francisco, CA-based email marketing startup, closed a $2.3m seed funding.
The round was led by Steve Anderson of Baseline Ventures, with participation from Initialized Capital, SV Angel, Maiden Lane, Acequia Capital, and other angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to hire new people to continue to develop the platform.
Led by Matt Harris and Brad Van Vugt, sendwithus provides an email marketing platform that features tools to monitor how customers engage with email, how individual emails perform, and then makes those analytics actionable through A/B testing.
It integrates with existing email service providers including SendGrid, Mandrill, and Mailgun.
