SocialChorus, a San Francisco, CA-based advocate marketing platform, received $7.5m in Series B funding.
The round, which brought total funding to $15.5m, was led by Kohlberg Ventures.
The company, which will be opening its first international office in Vancouver, intends to use the funds to further develop the platform.
Led by Gregory Shove, founder and CEO, and newly hired solutions director Lee Diaz, SocialChorus provides an advocate marketing platform built for employees and brand ambassadors to participate in programs that distribute branded content such as social selling, social recruiting, content marketing and employee engagement initiatives. The solution trains advocates, manages content relevance, integrates with any internal system, runs on any device and tracks the business impact of every content and social engagement.
Clients include leaders in industries including consumer packaged goods, retail, technology, telecommunications and financial services.
