Vahna, a Washington, DC-based cybersecurity software and solutions company, received a significant investment from international private equity firm IIU, the investment company of technology investor Dermot Desmond.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance its technology platform and expand its market presence.
Led by Brendan Conlon, CEO and founder, Vahna provides a patent-pending cyber security platform – Vahna EdgeTM, which is designed to give IT staff and network security teams the tools necessary to discover and kill intrusions in minutes. The platform is designed for integration with existing security appliances and security software.
In addition, the company offers managed network security services, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
