Compass, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a business intelligence and benchmarking platform, raised $3m in funding.
Backers included New Enterprise Associates, Profounders and Crosslink, strategic investors Tom Glocer (Former CEO of Thomson Reuters), Banca Intesa and Oliver Rothschild.
Led by Bjoern Lasse Herrmann, Compass provides a cloud-based benchmarking tool that matches more than 30 thousand tech companies globally with the most similar companies and compare their financial, sales and marketing metrics. Its Compass Monitor pulls data directly from various data repositories (Google Analytics, Stripe, Quickbooks, etc.) and allows users to share relevant metrics with investors and stakeholders.
