Moogsoft, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of next-generation manager of managers (MoM) services for IT operations, raised an additional $3m in Series B funding.
Backers included Cisco Investments and another large public company.
The company, which has now raised $14.3m in total in Series B (read here about the first close of the round in July 2014) and more than $23m in total, intends to use the funds to accelerate plans to continue to advance its operational tools.
Led by Phil Tee, CEO, Moogsoft provides Incident.MOOG, a Collaborative Situation Management platform for web-scale IT operations, which merges adaptive machine learning and socialized workflow into a manager of managers solution. Its flagship product, Incident.MOOG, detects anomalies in real time to reveal incidents as they unfold, reducing mean-time-to-repair (MTTR), and enabling knowledge capture and reuse through collaborative workflow and “Situation Rooms.”
