mParticle, a NYC-based mobile data startup, raised an additional $1.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Bowery Capital, Harbinger Capital and Battery Ventures.
The company will use the funds to grow the business.
Led by Michael Katz, co-founder and CEO, mParticle is a cloud-based platform that allows app and mobile web owners to control their data assets.
Over the past 12 month, the company has quadrupled the number of server-side integration partners with analytics, attribution, push notification, crash reporting, email, and marketing solutions and has released new segmentation capabilities enabling app owners to re-engage their users across multiple channels and partners, as well as reporting and a self-serve signup process.
