Xplenty, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based big data processing platform powered by Hadoop, raised $3m in Series A funding.
Backers included Waarde Capital and existing seed investor Magma Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its platform’s features and continue to grow globally.
Led by Yaniv Mor, CEO and co-founder, Xplenty provides a data integration platform powered by Hadoop that enables organizations to integrate, process, and prepare data for analytics both on the cloud and on-premise. It allows Hadoop non-experts to have immediate connectivity to a variety of data stores and a rich set of data transformation components without writing code.
