Riffsy, a San Francisco, CA-based mobile app company enabling people to find, create and share animated GIFs, raised $3.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Redpoint Ventures with participation from Initial Capital and John Riccitiello.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the product.
Founded in 2014 by David McIntosh, CEO, Riffsy is the mobile company behind GIF Keyboard for iPhone, an app that allows users to text, iMessage, Tweet and email animated GIFs from their keyboard.
