Appcues Secures $1.2M in Seed Funding

appcuesAppcues, a Boston, MA-based SaaS-based platform for user onboarding, secured $1.2m in seed funding.

Backers included Atlas Venture and individual investors Ty Danco, Dharmesh Shah, Brian Halligan, David Cancel, Elias Torres and Ric Calvillo, among others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its core product and move into mobile and native desktop applications.

Led by Jonathan Kim and and Jackson Noel, Appcues provides a SaaS-based platform that allows software companies and apps to better retain new users. It gives non-technical users the ability to build personalized onboarding experiences, in-app tutorials and notifications, driving users to take meaningful actions.
