Avi Networks, a Sunnyvale, CA-based Cloud Application Delivery company, raised $33m in funding.
Backers included Greylock Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Menlo Ventures.
Founded in 2012 by Umesh Mahajan, CEO, Avi Networks has just announced the availability of its Cloud Application Delivery Platform (CADP), based on its Hyperscale Distributed Resources Architecture (HYDRA™), for on-premise and cloud-based applications.
The Avi Networks CADP integrates with customers’ VMware, Openstack and Cisco’s ACI fabric environments. Today the company has key partnerships with Chef, Cisco, Intel, Mirantis, Puppet Labs, Red Hat, and VMware, among others.
Customers and pilots include a top two U.S. telco, a top five U.S. financial services company, a top three U.S. retailer, a top five global bank and Hitachi America, Ltd, among others.
