Icebrg.io, a Seattle, WA-based network security company, raised $2.5m in seed financing.
The round was led by Madrona Venture Group, with participation from Formation 8 and other individual and institutional investors. As part of the financing, David Rosenthal, Principal, Madrona Venture Group, joined Icebrg.io’s board.
The company is using the funds to continue to develop the platform.
Founded by CEO William Peteroy and CTO Josh Carlson, Icebrg has already deployed their technology in Fortune 200 companies which are the target of attacks by professional hackers.
