Prairie Cloudware, a Omaha, Nebraska-based provider of omni-channel digital payments services, completed a $3.2m equity funding.
Backers included Invest Nebraska Corporation and existing investors Croghan Investments, Nelnet, Tetrad Corporation and Treetop Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to move from beta testing to commercialization of ita Digital Payments Guardian service.
Led by Kevin Kammer, CEO, Prairie Cloudware provides the Digital Payments Guardian platform which gives consumers the ability to keep the information associated with their various payment options – accounts and cards – stored at their financial institutions. The consumer can connect to the payment applications of their choice from laptops, smartphones, tablets or wearables and request their payment information when they are ready to make a purchase. The information is then routed in a tokenized format and completed through the existing payment rails.
