Rapid7, a Boston, MA-based provider of security analytics software and services, received $30m in funding.
Backers included Bain Capital and Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV).
The company intends to use the funds to continue to accelerate growth and fund new offerings.
Led by Corey Thomas, president and CEO, Rapid7 provides security analytics software and services for vulnerability management, penetration testing, controls assessment, incident detection and investigation across assets and users for virtual, mobile, private and public cloud networks.
The company serves more than 3,000 organizations across 78 countries including Ardent Health Services, GoldenTree Asset Management, Hulu, MeadWestvaco Corporation, Sally Beauty Holdings, and the University of Toledo.
