Codestreet, a New York-based provider of fixed income matching and liquidity discovery solutions, received a venture capital investment from Rochester Advisors and Cerium Technology.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of the its platform, Codestreet Dealer Pool, and expand the sales and marketing team to continue to extend its reach globally.
Led by Howard Pein, CEO, Codestreet provides a range of technology solutions for fixed income front-office professionals, with the primary purpose of optimizing dealers’ use of capital and increasing riskless-principal business.
More than 30 dealers use the Codestreet Dealer Pool, which is an anonymous platform for matching positions and axes in the corporate bond market by linking the liquidity of each participating dealer allowing them to exploit the ‘network effect’ across the community and discover previously hidden pockets of liquidity.
Its Teamwork enables trading desks to collaborate with Sales to service customers.
The company also has an office in London.
